How to set a field as Mandatory in Next-gen software project?

Hi. I am using next-gen software project. I want to write a project automation rule to set a field (a text box) as mandatory when a issue status changes from any status to DONE. But none of the actions supported does have the facility to set a field as mandatory. Does any of you know how to do it?

Hi @PreethamK ,

You can't use project Automation to do that. Automation happens based on the result of something else. It cannot keep things from happening. To do that, you need to set a Condition or a Validator on the transition of a Workflow.
