Last question for the day looking for the syntax for an if statement in IFTTT on create send email .

I have a custom Field in confluence I want to write the if statement if the optional field is there then populate it and if its null do not try to populate it.  Below are the attempts

#if(!${Epic.isEmpty()}) #set(customfield_10006:[entry.Epic])#end,

similar code works in description as seen below but that is free fomr text

"description": "  *System* [entry.system.Label] \n\n #if(${clarityId}) *clarity Id* [entry.clarityId] #end \n\n *Base Description* [entry.desc.escapeJSON]\n\n *Requirements* [entry.req.escapeJSON] \n\n #if(${WhyCrit}) *Critical reason* [entry.WhyCrit] #end \n\n #if(${roi}) *Benefit* [entry.roi.escapeJSON] #end \n\n #if(${TargetTimeline}) *Target Timeline* [entry.TargetTimeline] #end \n\n #if(!${Impacts.isEmpty()}) *System Impacted:* [entry.Impacts] #end ",

What type of field (in ConfiForms) is the "Epic" field?

So, it is NOT a multi-value field?

Then just check it as a non multi value field

#if(${Epic}) "customfield_10006":"[entry.Epic]", #end

Alex

Do you see my answer?  This way you can check if the field is non-empty

#if(${Epic}) "customfield_10006":"[entry.Epic]", #end

Alex
