This question may sound crazy.
Say by mistake i put a infinite loop in my plugin or gadget in java. Is it possible for JIRA to specifically stop the thread and kill it without restarting the server? Is there any admin functionality for this purpose?
Hi Kannan,
Jira does not have this functionality but you might try to disable and uninstall the plugin.
Best regards,
Peter
I tried that . But still i could find the log files getting updated every now and then because of the infinite loop . Wish jira has some functionality like this to stop a specific thread.
