Hi Folio team,
We're using FOLIO in trial version and we've noted that FOLIOs have 3 kind of statuses:
- Pending (when FOLIO's start date has not begun yet)
- Executing (when "we are" between start date and end date of the FOLIO) AND
- Expired (when "we are" after FOLIO's end date)
For us, the term: EXPIRED, means something which has passed end date, but, has not fineshed (as planned).
In our case, we've fineshed our FOLIO according to the plan, thus we hope to get the term CLOSED, not EXPIRED, as the new status.
Is there something we are doing wrong? Or that's exactly the behavior of the tool?
Wish some support.
Thanks in advance.
Michel
Hi Michel,
We only have the 3 terms that you mentioned. You are not doing anything wrong.
Expired was used to express that we are after the FOLIO's end date regardless if the plan was met or not.
I think you are right, we should add a 4th state "Closed" to denote that we are after the FOLIO's end date and that the plan was met. It was added in our backlog [FOLIO-193]
Cheers,
JC
Same around here. After installing and testing v4.2
Everything is working fine.
Cheers! ;D

Great JC, thanks a lot!
I think it will contribute to eliminate ambiguity.
