Insight Discovery - does it show configuration and changes in DataBases?

does Insight Discovery scan Data Bases and show changes in DB configuration?

Hi Tomasz.

       As a rule of thumb - Insight can retrieve any information accessible from the command prompt or a configuration file, using the Discovery Patterns. You can always create and add Customized Patterns to your Discovery Tool.

By default, Discovery is not retrieving information about Configuration changes.

Depending on Credentials and Patterns configured, by default you will get the following Objects created for a Database found:

a Database Object

an Application Object (referencing the DB Object)

Application Service Object (referencing the Host)
