Hello, I would like to pull Jira projects into a WordPress website. I have installed the Crane Jira plugin and am able to get issues related to specific projects, but I would like to be able to pull a full list of projects and related issues, as well as all boards. I have found the instructions for using the REST API but have a few questions on how to integrate into WordPress code. Has anyone successfully accomplished this that could give me a jump start?
Hello @Deirdre Kirmis,
I am a WordPress developer at CRANE APP.
Nice to read, that you're using our WordPress plugin "CRANE APP Jira Integration". As you wrote, you need more functionality. It would be great, if you join our Slack channel to share and discuss your ideas for further development with us.
See you soon!
In case anyone else is looking for a solution to this...I did find another WordPress pluging...JSON Content Importer...that helps with this. It uses PHP-based "templates" to pull any JSON content into WordPress, and even creates custom post types if desired. The combo of these 2 plugins plus custom PHP for page templates seems to be a workable solution for getting Jira (and other REST API) data into WordPress.
