Is it possible to increase 30 day to 40 day of the default "Issues:30 Day Summary" chart displayed in the project Summary Tab?

i just want the chart displays the issuses in 40 days or longer days .

Please see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-8529 It's not really an answer, but if it looks like it would help, please vote for the issue. We've been struggling with the summary chart - I need to be able to modify it, replace it, remove it, something! It's useless the way it is.

Although you can not change the chart on the project page, you can add a gadget to a dashboard with a "Created vs. Resolved Chart" where you can change how many days. Details on the created vs resolved gadget are located here. Overall documentation on how to change and share dashboards is located here.

Althought not exactly what you are looking for, hopefully it helps before JRA-8529 gets implemented.
