Is there a there a cloud version of Time in Status?

John Monczewski March 3, 2019

The version that I found that seems to have all the functionality that I would like does not appear to be in the cloud version and it also gets only average ratings. Is there a better plug-in to use or does anyone have good reviews of the cloud version?

Hi @John Monczewski

Time in status for Jira Cloud by SaaSJet is the new add-on that has been recently released. That's why there haven't been many reviews yet. Although, it provides the solution you can't find in the Jira Cloud, just out-of-the-box.

This plugin generates 7 types of reports at the moment: Time in status, Average time in status, Assignee time, Status Entrance Date, Time in Status per Date, Status Count and Transition Count.

To analyze the report up close with all the intrinsic data, you can export it as XLS or CSV file and open it with Excel or Google Spreadsheets.

Also, you can view all reports as charts (Pie, Bar and Area Charts) and export them too.

Hope it helps

Hello @John Monczewski

I suggest you take a look at the original Timepiece - Time in Status for Jira by OBSS. Our app does exactly what you need and now have cloud support.

  • Our app creates reports on how much time each issue spent on each status, assignee or user group.
  • Number of time each status or transition was used.
  • View durations in days, hours, minutes, etc.
  • Include issue fields in your report.
  • Export data as CSV, XLS or XLSX.
  • Calculate time averages, grouped by multi level issue fields that you select.
  • Define your own business calendars.

We now have Server, Data Center and Cloud options.
