After choosing issues in a custom field of type "Issue Picker" using the issuepicker plugin, the links generated on the issue keys will not work in our installation because the URL created for the link is an absolute path, i.e. it starts with a "/".
More precisely, the link is created as "/browse/<issueID>". This works only if there is no URL path element before "/browse".
In our installation, the URL pattern is "https://<hostname>/jira/browse/<issueID>".
Links to picked issues will be rendered as "https://<hostname>/browse/<issueID>", and fail.
Can this behavior be modified?

Support team, Could we please get an update on above reported issue. We also face the same problem. When issues are chosen with issue picker field it ignores the context path "/jira". Please look into this and treat it as priority.
