Jira Agile (formerly greenhopper), business value in plan view

I'd like to sort my backlog by business value and to do that it would be great to have an additional info in the backlog list (just like for version and story points), is it possible to do that?

I know I can see the business value on the right column but I'm forced to select each story to see it's value.

I suppose that it can be done. You would have to take a look at the code. You can download the source code from your my.atlasssian.com license page. It could be as simple as adding the value in the velocity file if the data is available in the velocity parameters.

To my knowledge, you cannot add/display additional info in the backlog items like we use to be in the clasic boards. However, maybe you can try to create a quick filter that sorts the data by Business Value or shows only the items matching a specific Business value or range.

Isn't there a velocity template I can modify, some hack code I can to the welcome message or something like that to add the field?
