In order to correct some erroneous imported data, I need to modify the created, updated an resolved dates on a batch of issues.
Due to limitations in how JQL handles filtering by date, I'm unable to create a search for these issues, and use the native bulk update method. (And I'm not sure that would work anyway, as I need to recalculate the value based on it's current value.)
I am however able to filter the issues I need to update using the Automation For Jira plugin, but I don't seem to be able to edit these values with the automation plugin, as they are not listed in the fields I can edit.
Is there a way to do this using Automation?
If not, what other methods should I consider?
Hi Max,
Developer from Automation for Jira here.
Those fields are automatically generated by Atlassian and can't currently be edited by the APIs provided to connect applications. So unfortunately this is not something we can support at this stage, feel free to contact our support if your require any further assistance with our product: https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1
Cheers,
Yvan
