Move from biggantt to bigpicture

Hi all,

a customer wants to move from biggantt to bigpicture. We would like to understand the steps on how to migrate from biggantt to bigpicture:

1. can we use both addons using same data for a certain time?

2. (how) can I move/copy biggantt data to bigpicture?

3. when removing biggantt, which kind of data is lost?

Hi,

Thank you for your question. 

You can use BP and BG together but keep in mind that some information about your program is stored by the plugin and hence you will not be able to migrate everything.

This includes:

1. Cadences
2. Markers
3. Program configuration
4. Artificial links and tasks
5. Plugin configuration.

It is possible to migrate this but it is not an easy task and is not recommended.
