Need help to configure Incoming/outgoing mails in JIRA 5.2.10 version

Can you please give the details to configure Incoming/outgoing mails in JIRA 5.2.10 version.Have following queries.

1.Any plugins needs to be downloaded from market place?if yes name of the plugin

2.Apart from SMTP server details any other details required from the developer side?

3.Configuration steps

No plugins required.

Outgoing:
