No authentication using local jira instance as user directory

We have a local Jira instance and a fisheye/crucible instance installed on the same server. The Jira instance has active directory for user management after the builtin user management. The active directory server is located in Australia. Fisheye/Crucible are set to use the local Jira instance for crowd user management. This was working fine until today, when our australian network connection went down. I have noticed that when the network between our jira server and our australia office is down, users can login to Jira, but the same users will not authenticate for fisheye/crucible using the local jira server for user management. Only switching to builtin user authentication appears to work on fisheye (which appears to have to be done user by user). Is there a way to configure fisheye/crucible to use jira as a user management and still be usable when active directory is not available?

Hi there

This is occurring because Fisheye/Crucible is "importing/reading" just the users from external directory. You may try to fix that switching the internal directory as the prior one in the JIRA users directories list.
