Hello,
With the following update in v1.8.61, the Epic Issue Type no longer provides (the very helpful) "Estimation By Roles" section on the right-hand sidebar, due to JIRA hiding the "Time Tracking (By Roles)" Field for the Epic for having no value (see screenshot of Field Analysis).
- "Estimation By Roles" Section is now hidden if the Time Tracking (By Roles) CF is hidden (via built in config or using JIRA field security plugin) or is not present on any of the screens for the chosen screen scheme or time tracking is disabled.
Since Epics summarize a set of other issues, including providing a summary of the Estimations by Role, it won't be valid for an Epic to have a value for the "Time Tracking (By Roles)" Field. However, the new functionality will hide the "Estimation By Roles" section from the Epic screen.
If possible, please restore the ability to see the "Estimation By Roles" section on an Epic. (Perhaps you could make the "Estimation By Roles" a configurable setting in the Add-on instead of making it dependent on the visibility of the "Time Tracking (By Roles)" field.)
Thanks,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,
With the new version of the plugin (v1.4.7 & v1.8.7), this should be resolved.
We have implemented a separate configuration on the time tracking page for the project, where you can configure groups and roles, based on which, the Estimations By Role section will be hidden.
Let us know, if you find any issue with this.
Thanks,
Abhinav.
Hi Adrian,
Sorry for the trouble, we are actually in the process of improving this new added feature. Very soon we will come up with the new version, where you can set specific groups or roles, for which the section should be hidden. I will inform you as soon as the new version is out.
Thanks,
Abhinav.
