I want totake meeting notes in Confluence and create tasks on the fly.
These tasks should be shown on that page as "action points" but when a user completes a task via Jira this task on confluence should also be marked as completed. How can this be done?
Hi Osman,
Thank you for your question. Since Jira tasks are an issue type and not related to Confluence tasks, you need to use the Jira issues macro to display them in Confluence.
You may create a solution internally using an add-on from Atlassian Marketplace or programmatically with the Atlassian Cloud REST-API.
I hope that helps!
Take care,
Shannon
Thanks Shannon, i've checked the jira issues macro, but it's not really what i'm looking for. I want to take meeting notes in Confluence and add jira stories/tasks on the fly. Just like the confluence task and of course see that the stories are "closed/completed" when completed in Jira.
Not sure if it's all clear :-) But this is really what i miss. Hope there is already something available. Else i need to check if someone can build it for me.

Hi Osman,
Thank you for clarifying your requirements. Since I moved your question to the Marketplace collection, one of our marketplace vendors may be able to suggest something for you.
Otherwise, you can also ask the Atlassian Developer Community or get in touch with an Atlassian Expert to help build a solution for you.
Best of luck, and take care!
Shannon
