Can I send a mail in dependency with release version date?

I want to send a mail for example 12 days before release version date of the next unpublished release is reached.

Is this possible with the Addon "Automation for Jira"?

Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately I can't think of way to do this with Automation for Jira.

We can rules on a schedule and can check if issues match criteria, but not versions.

It may be possible but we just need to weigh up its priority - this is the first mention of this use-case.
