Hi,
I am trying to implement to copy the original/previous value from one of the estimation value to other custom field. Both fields are text fields only. Previously we had implemented the copy value from Original Estimate system field to Original Epic Estimate custom field using the script listener, however this time the both fields are custom fields, could you please help me to achieve this requirement.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @VENKATESHWARARAO
This use case can be addressed with the use of Automation Rules. This is available as a plugin for the server instance.
The rule can be triggered when the value of the original field (Original Estimate system field) changes and the updated value can be copied to the required field (Original Epic Estimate custom field).
Kindly accept the answer if this helps.

Hi Gaurav,
Thanks for your reply.
Please let me know the plugin name. Present we already implemented to copy the value from Original Estimate system field to Original Epic Estimate custom field using the Script Listener. Now we would like to implement copy the Dev Estimation custom field to Original Dev Estimation custom field. Dev Estimation and Original Dev Estimation fields are text fields. Can we create the custom field with the same behaviour of Original Estimate system field in Jira.
