Hi @matrix DevOps , @Shirley Jhirad ,@Fernando Llaca Romero,

Recently we have upgraded JIRA from v7,9,2 to v8.2.4 but the easy links add on is not compatible with v8.

I have checked in the marketplace but the add-on does not appear.

Is there any similar add-on to use like easy links? or @Fernando team will upgrade this plugin to compatible with jira v8?

Regards,

Andrews

Checkout vlinks or teamworkx issue picker

@Shirley Jhirad- Thanks for your update Shirley.

Earlier we have used the Easylinks, if we use Vlinks or Teamworkx again we need to create new fields right because the exiting fields will not work.

So it will be confusion to the users right is there any away to migrate the existing field to the new add-ons??

Please suggest me...

Thanks in Advance..!

I dont think there is an easy way, i believe you need to do this on test and recreate the fields with the new add-on and bulk move values.

BTW i understood from Vlinks guys they bought the propriety of easylinks. This might explain why easylinks is not updated.

But please mind to be careful with vlinks - they added nice additional features to it but it's a bit buggy and unstable from what i experienced in the past months

Hey,

thanks for the interests in vLinks. We did not bought Easy Links. We tried to contact them to improve their app, but they never responded. Therefore we were forced to redevelop that app. vLinks has some more features e.g. define a own template for the view or select issues where you do not have access to.

Regarding the stability and bugs. We try our best to improve the quality, but the app is free. We are forced to release a vLinks pro version which enabled new features e.g. extended context functionality and inline create issues. With that pro version we want to finance the further development of the vLinks which will remain free.
