Google Drive will not connect

Andy von Busse March 11, 2019

I am on the free, one powerup, version. I can connect to other powerups, such as Dropbox with no issues, however, it has been impossible to connect to Google Drive, which is the one I really need.

On the main screen I get this:

On a folder screen, I get this:

Attempting to invoke create and attach results in nothing happening. I would also have expected to see a way to load a link to a file, like I can in Dropbox, at the folder level.

Anyone know how to address this??

I use Privacy Badger in Firefox. It was disallowing some Google cookies from two Google domains and I had the same behaviour as you. When I forced Badger to allow them, the Drive Power-up worked.

Thanks for the hint. I use a Chromebook, have disabled my ad blocker, and enabled flash. There appear to be no other settings that may affect this.

Just to clarify, the problem still exists.

@Andy von Busse Are you seeing any errors in the javascript console when clicking on "Create and Attach"?

In Edge, Firefox, or Chrome, you can check for errors with the Error Console. In Edge, hit F12 and go to the 'console' tab. On Firefox or Chrome for Windows, bring it up with Ctrl+Shift+J. On macOS, use Command - Option - J for Chrome or Command - Shift - J for Firefox. You can copy any errors you see there, or take a screenshot and share here.

Finally found the issues. A number of cookies were not allowed. Thanks for the console suggestion, I could trace it via that. It now WORKS!

Can you click on the little triangle to show what the error message is in your console?

Have you tried using another browser?

Bernardo Gribel May 2, 2019

@bentley  the problem is within Chrome, it worked fine with Firefox

I will use firefox for Trello and get rid of this hassle, tks
