Has anyone used this wonderful Adaptavist tool with JIRA/Service Desk that is utilizing Insight?
Hi Carla,
I’m the Product Marketing Manager for AutoBlocks here at Adaptavist. We currently don’t have an Insight integration in AutoBlocks, but this would be a great addition for our roadmap. We are however already looking into integrations with other apps, starting with a ScriptRunner integration.
We’re currently working on several new features to further extend the capability of AutoBlocks, with some of the most important being scheduled triggers and issue transition triggers. With an Insights integration, we could unlock a whole new set of use cases. For example, in an organisation that maintains its hardware assets with Insights that has a JSD process for requesting new laptops, AutoBlocks could check whether there are any spare laptops and if not place an order for a new one. This sort of use case is already supported by ScriptRunner today.
We’re constantly developing new features and extending our roadmap and we would love to hear examples of how you would like to use AutoBlocks with Insight. Please do not hesitate to reach out to let us know, or if you have any questions about AutoBlocks and how it can support common business scenarios.
Thanks,
Seb
Thank you for the response Seb. I love Autoblocks for non-code writers. When you integrate Insight asset management fields I would be so happy. Have met wonderful members of your organization at my AUG meetings. Is there a reminder link/watch link?

Hi Carla,
No problem, thank you for your kind and useful feedback! You can use the "Watch app" link on the marketplace listing, in the bottom right under Resources, and we also send out email notifications for new features as and when we release them. As you're already using AutoBlocks, you should be on the list to receive these.
Thanks,
Seb
