How do I export Test Step/Data/Expected Result using Xporter?

My organization is evaluating Xporter along with Xray, and we need to be able to export Test Steps from manual test scripts. The current documentation doesn't seem to address this. Is there a way to accomplish it?

You can get TestSteps using the place holder: 

${Manual Test Steps (Export)|html=true}

Try that.

where should i define it ?

I did eventually find that, and I didn't like the resulting output in Word 2007. Is there a way to change how the table is formatted? I would at minimum want to see the text top left aligned.
