1. I would like to change the SynapseRT Traceability Report status (To Do, In Progress) naming. Is it possible and how can it be done?
2. How does the Traceability Report status (To Do, In Progress, Obsolete) get linked to the workflow status of the Test Case and Requirements in JIRA?
Example: In the Test Case (Test Status = Active) but In Traceability Report it is showing as In Progress)

We have fixed this issue in v9.1.1, please upgrade to the latest version and check.

Yesterday we had a discussion within our product team.
We decided to improve this feature as below:
- Both TC & Req status in Traceability Report will exactly follow workflow status.
Above change will be done in v9.1.1, the release is scheduled by the end of this month.
So in your case, I would suggest updating your workflow status as below:
Planning -> In Progress
Active -> Done
Obsolete -> Obsolete
So that the same will be presented in Traceability Report as well.
Sorry that currently there is no workaround to meet your requirmeent.

Thanks for your interest in our synapseRT product!
The 'Status' in traceability report is same as how workflow status. For example: If your requirement status is "In Progress", it will also show the same in traceability report.
But for "Test Case" issue, it shows "Status Category" name instead of actual "Status" name. I below your "Active" status is categorized as "In Progress".

Currently both the requirements(Req) and test cases (TC) are having the same workflow status.
Status in TC & Req Status shown in Traceability Report
Planning = To Do
Active = In Progress
Obsolete = Done
I would like it to be changed to the following:
Status in TC & Req Status shown in Traceability Report
Planning = In Progress
Active = Done
Obsolete = Obsolete
How do we get the status to be updated in Traceability Report?
Can we add new Status Category and if yes, how can this be done?
