I am unable to make LATEX Math plugin work neither using Windows 7 nor using Linux

You are missing the latex-preview package.

In linux, run the following: sudo apt-get preview-latex-style

In windows, use your latex package manager to install the preview package. If you are using MiKTeX, you can try changing the settings so that missing packages are installed automatically:

Open: Program Files->MiKTeX X.X->Maintenance->Settings

Change General->Package installation->Install missing packages on-the-fly to Yes

when I installed texlive. but still getting the error:
