IQL referencing to Field value that has not been commited

Hi,

i'm wondering if i could narrow down an Object drop down by filtering for a value that has been entered during object creation.

An example:

I want to only show software products (which is it's own Insight Object) based what what name has been entered in the "Name" field.

E.g. If i enter Microsoft, should only see e.g. "Microsoft" or "Microsoft Corporation" or such.

What i'm doing here is Referencing imported Software products from SCCM, but i want to manually create 'approved' software objects.

Thanks and best regards

Thomas

Forget the restriction on the target drop down and use checkboxes for each option and hide them based on the value of a source drop down field.

Hi Iqbal,

i'm not using JIRA Service Desk in this case as the User-interface, but the Insight 'create object' option itself.

Unfortunately, I do not have experience with Insight Object. Lets wait for someone with more experience to answer this.

I am also curious for an alternate approach.
