Insight for Confluence objects in Confluence Export to PDF not visible

Hi!

I have got a problem with the pdf export in confluence. if there are insight objects displayed with the insight for confluence plugin the insight objects are not visible on the pdf export.

We are using Confluence 6.13.2 and the insight for confluence addon is up to date 1.3.17

Anyone who can help me please?

Hi Florian,

We are currently aware of this issue on version 1.3.17 . It has been reported on our public portal under ticket ID IMFC-45 . Please add yourself as a watcher to this ticket to get all updates on the fix once it's released.

The current workaround is to re-install version 1.3.16. Doing so will not affect your confluence data on the pages.

for the downgrade to 1.3.16 it is only possible to uninstall the addon and afterwards to install the older version 1.3.16? Can there be any problems if i uninstall the addon and re-install?

Hi Florian,

The is the correct way to go. Should not be any issues.

As mentioned, your pages are saved in the confluence DB. So removing the macro will only not display the data but will not remove them unless you delete the page or edit it and remove the macro controller.

I have now installed the older version 1.3.16. Now i got a new problem because of a "timeout".

I have some confluence pages with a lot of insight objects. Unfortunately the Export to PDF runs in a timeout.

Hi Florian,

So the export works for some pages but not others ? May I ask how many objects you have on your page that does not work ? 

Can you please create a ticket for me on our support portal ? I require to further investigate this using the logs hence please attach the atlassian_confluence.log including the timestamps when you try to do the export and it fails.
