Is there a way to add static text to a custom screen without Jira Toolkit plugin?

Hello Team,

We are using Jira 8.2.4 version and we want to put static text on the transition screens without using plugins, can you suggested me Is it possible to configure without plugin or not, If it's possible please let me know how to configure.

Hello,

Nope, you can't put static text to screens. However you can use this workaround; you can add a description to your comment field on the field configuration scheme of your projects. Since comment field is default on every transition screen, you will have a static text on your screen. But you should be careful not putting it on a system default field configuration and use a customized field configuration for that specific project.

I want to ask, why don't you want to use Jira Toolkit plugin? It's a free app developed by Atlassian team.
