Hello, i have a Issue A and sub-task aa and bb
When i move the Issue A ( the parent issue) from Status New to Rejected i want all subtasks (aa and bb) to be set to status Rejected.
i have tried to add a post function on the button Rejected that will lead to status Rejected and added in the Transition field on the top Rejected
and selected ISSUE LINK TYPE - Is parent of
Without any sucess =(
Anyone knows what i am doing wrong?

it should work this way.
Maybe the subtasks have a status where they can't perform this transition?
Did you select the right workflow, the one the subtask use?
Check the permissions - maybe the user can't transition the subtask.

Thanks for the tip. i did not allow the subtask to change status from the first state and now that i added it, it seems that it works =)

Hi,
Can you check that the subtasks have any validator/condition that is failing and hence not getting transitioned? Is this on Cloud or Server? You can raise a ticket with the app vendor to get it resolved.

Also, did you input the name or id of a _transition_ (not status) that takes the subtaks to the Rejected status? Obviously, they need to have their own Rejected status and Reject transition, and the Reject transition needs to be available from any status.
