Hi everyone,
I've created a Structure and now I want to sort my Epics via fixVersion. Options I used:
- Order by fixVersion
- Sort Levels: Current level only
- Sort Direction: Ascending
But Structure sorts in an interesting way, for example:
- 00.PI
- 01.PI, 02.PI
- 01.PI, 02.PI, 03.PI
- 00.PI, 01.PI, 02.PI, 03.PI
- 01.PI, 03.PI
- 02.PI
- 01.PI, 02.PI
- 02.PI, 04.PI
Some explanations for that behavior?
Greetings from Germany,
Jo
Hi Jo
The issue is rather strange. Is this the only sorter in the structure? Would it be possible to list all the generators there?

Thanks for currently reply.
My generators are:
1) Picture:
2) Picture:
3) JQL: type in (Epic, Feature, Story, Enabler-Story) and Status not in (Cancelled)
4) Picture:

Thank you for clarification, Jo,
Looks like I need some more information:
1. Are those versions from the single project or from different ones?
2. What is the order of versions in the board at least for one of projects?
I must note that sorting by version is done not by name of the version but by the order they appear in the board.
Regards,
Egor

Thanks, Jo,
Sorry for not being clear, I was referring to Agile board. With that in mind however, the order you are describing is incorrect, even if 01.PI goes before 00.PI in Agile board, it should not appear the way shown in your question. We may be dealing with some kind of bug, and I recommend raising a ticket in our service desk via support@almworks.com, as we will need to collect diagnostic data to determine the cause of the issue.
Sorry for inconvenience.
Regards,
Egor
