Trying to use Smart Values to access Component info

Hi, love this plugin, I'm trying to access the Component Lead, or even the description of a component, to put in an email. I've tried {{#issue.components}}{{description}}{{/}} and am not getting any results.

Is there a way to access the components.description field? I can see it in the REST API json. Also, is it possible to dot-walk or call the Component API to get the Project Lead information for a given component?

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately that is not something we support currently, you can only get the name and id. I have created an issue for us in the backlog to add this functionality.
