I have a trigger that looks for when the sprint changes for a story which for various reasons needs to be checked whenever a ticket is edited. That means every time the ticket is edited it shows a pop up for the user in the top left corner saying something like "Automation for JIRA has made some automatic changes"
How can that popup notification be turned off?
Hi Noam,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Unfortunately, it cannot be turned off. We have an open issue in our backlog to make this configurable:
https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-788
Scott.
Thanks @Scott Harwood
Any progress on this one?
I just added rules to track cycle time (without buying any add-ons :^) and it works great...but the pop-up alerts are a bit noisy.
Thanks for the great addition to JIRA!
Best regards,
Bill

I have done the same thing as @Bill Sheboy and have several other quality of life automations that make the in-app notifications so noisy that they are unfortunately completely ignored by the team.
This would be another hugely helpful addition to the many you've already provided us with Automation.
Thanks!
Brad

Brad, here is another suggestion to add an option for automation notification suppression: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-74321
Best regards,
Bill

Thanks Bill. I voted for that, as well as the blocking issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-73887.
