I have 2 instances of confluence (v6.1.1) running in different environments. I need to be able to transfer documents/pages from one to the other on a regular basis. This is not for back up reasons but to have both sites have mirrored information on each. Also when i export to a Word document the tables and other items get jumbled and out of order, If there is a way to fix that or other solution that would be fantastic.
Hi Lindsay,
what you describe can be accomplished with Scroll Remote Publishing Endpoint, which allows you to publish documents to a remote Confluence system like you described. It is however an extension of the Scroll Versions App, which is focused on creating and managing documentation in Confluence.
If you provide some more information on what your use case looks like, I can give you more specific advice.
Cheers,
David
Hi David,
That is almost what i am looking for. However i need the ability to export the pages/spaces to media first then transfer them to the separate instance of confluence and then upload them from the media.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.
Lindsay

Hey Lindsay,
if you need this export and import process explicitly, then it depends on what you mean by 'media' there.
If you want to export the entire Confluence space, then I think XML exports are fit best, which is a native functionality in Confluence.
If you however want to only export a few pages or you need to keep these 'media' files readable, we offer a number of different Scroll Exporter Apps, most notably for Word, PDF and HTML.
I hope that was helpful.
Cheers,
David
