Why doesn't System Admin have access to Gantt Configuration for all Gantt Charts?

Hi, our System Admin does not have the Cogwheel Icon > Gantt configuration option for all out Gantt charts and subsequently can't give access to anyone else to configure a Gantt

Yes and no - adding the permission allowed the Sys Admin to configure other Gantts, but still does not allow him to the 'Gantt configuration' option of the main project Gantts.

I sent you a short video to explain the two different kinds of Gantt-Chart via the ticket you submitted us :)

The Gantt-Chart which is created automatically when the project is created CANNOT be configured individually. These Gantt-Chart does not have The 'Gantt configuration' option within the Gannt-Chart.

In order to configure these Gantt-Chart, please go to Jira Administration > Manage apps > WBS GANTT-CHART.

Hi, @[deleted]. It turns out there are a number of Gantt solutions for Jira.

You'll probably get the help you need more quickly if you specify which one you are using. :) 

If you aren't sure, a screenshot of the UI may help the community members recognized which one you happen to be using.

We're using Server v8.8.0. Our system admin is not able access the 'Gantt configuration' through the Cogwheel of all Gantt charts. The 'Gantt configuration' option is not available to him.

Unfortunately, that small screen snippet is not enough for me to go on (except to say you are def. not using the ALM Works Gantt solution).  But, it might be enough to go on for someone else.  Let's see what happens.

Alternatively, you can go into the Atlassian Universal Plug-in Manager (UPM) to discover whose Gantt app you are using and @mention someone from that company here in this thread and/or add a tag(s) for the app and/or vendor to this thread. (That's more likely to get the right person's attention.)
