Hello Members,
Currently I am manually entering the project start date every time I create a Gantt chart, is there a way for me to have the chart extract the data from the Project Start Date field when I create a new task?
Hello, @Sriram Baskaran
Thank you for bringing this behavior to our attention and creating this Community Question.
To automatically use the current date as the Start Date when creating a Task, the checkbox "Set today's date" has to be checked under the Gantt Configurations. To set it, please follow the instructions below:

Hello Ricksoft-Support.atlassian.net.,
Thanks for your reply, let me try and rephrase my question.
I have currently created a few tasks for my team, these tasks have their start, due and next follow up dates as well.
2. I now open apps -->WBS Gantt Chart to view all these tasks as a Gantt chart - I use this to present the info to senior management.
3. However, the data such as start / finish date are blank - I manually entering the data a second time. Is there a way for it to populate from the task page itself?
4. Also can the gantt chart populate percentage done on the basis of which board the task is in, instead of me manually entering it as well?
