Report to show work hours planned for the week

We use JIRA Software and BigPicture plugin to help manage task progress for marketing team.

We want to build a report that would show each user, how many hours worth of work they have planned for the week.

Is there a filter that can make this possible?

Hey @Ian Balas 

What if you used the Resources module for that? It seems to be a perfect fit. See the example below. 

User 'admin' sees only his own tasks ('Quick filter' enabled) for the next week (from 2019-02-25 to 2019-03-01). His allocation (49.0 h) for that week is highlighted in orange. 

You could also generate and export such reports to either image PDF: 

or an XLSX and this would look like shown below:

I did try exporting the resource module, but it said I need "Big Template" in order to do this?

Hi Ian,

Yeah, you need BigTemplate for that. I should have told you this, sorry.

Export/import operations require BigTemplate.

Ahh I see.

Okay that's no problem. I discussed this with my department and it looks like we'll be looking into this report generation with another app, but we may be open to BigTemplate add-on in which we'll follow the steps you provided to me.
