We provide development services to external customers- each customer has a user login in our Jira. We have set a number of accounts against each customer. To avoid having to report to the customer how many hours have been used in each account monthly - we want the customer to have the view of the Account monthly budget burn up chart - how can we enable this?

The proposed approach would seem sensible and would work for us. To be honest we have less issue with the security of the data, as we use another plugin Zones – which restrict users to only certain underlying Jira data, which in turn automatically filters Tempo. So for us – its an easier mindset because if the user can see the data then we want them to see the gadgets.

Hi Andy,
in the current version of Tempo Timesheets, only users with the "Approve Timesheet" permission can access the Account gadgets. This is most likely more information than you want your customers to have access to as this permission also gives access to the Team timesheet.
We are working on improvements in the Tempo permissions and this is one of the problems we want to address. These improvements are scheduled to be released in Tempo Timesheets 8.0 early next year.
Kind regards,
Susanne
