Using this little but very nice plugin leads into the question if it s possible to start (or stop) time tracking on a transition, as example:
- start time log while start progress
- stop time log while resolve issue
-...
Any ideas?
Thanks & Regards,
Hans-Hermann
Hi,
Automated Log Work add-on is able to start/stop time automatically when issue is transitioned.
Currently only standard workflow is supported but we are going to release new version within next few days which will support JIRA Agile as well (JIRA Agile view and Agile workflow).
Please watch the add-on to be notified about new versions: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.gebsun.plugins.jira.startwork
Thanks,
Gebsun
Automated Log Work version 2.1 supports all custom workflows with default "In Progress" status in automatic mode.
You can move issues between "In Progress" and Closed/Resolved/Done/Open/etc. statuses and watch time logged automatically (timer is ticking when issue is in "In Progress" status).
That is really useful feature.
Regards,
Gebsun

Hi Ahmad,
thanks for the hint, but from time to time i check the marketplace for new versions but Gebsun seems to be not focussed on getting their plugin in step with JIRA versions so we had to disable it...
Thanks & regards,
Hans-Hermann
