When I export to Excel (Current fields) the Status icons are now included with the extract. The icons seem to significantly increase the size of the extracted file and are not required. This also seems to be happening only recently as we were not aware of it a couple of weeks ago.
It is not a problem with a small extract but really hurts with a 1000 issue extract.
The Atlassian documentation for "Exporting to Microsoft Excel" does not show the Status icons.
Is it possible to turn off the extracted icons in our instance of OnDemand?

You can't do this in onDemand because it will need modification of few templates and that is not allowed in onDemand.

OK if it cannot be configured in our instance then it should perhaps be turned off in OnDemand. These icons did not appear before the latest release. With the icons included the export to excel function is really not very useful except for a small number of issues. In my view the included icons add nothing of value to the excel report. I cannot see why they have now been included.
