I am setting up some structures and was wondering what happens if I put together 2 different structures that have the same issue. What would happen if both of those structures had synchronizations that are conflicting for that issue?
Lauren, thanks for a good question.
It is indeed possible to put the same issue into more than one structure. Structures serve as "containers" for the issues.
So if two structures have synchronizations installed that result in some conflict - there will be conflict! This may end up in conflicting synchronizers changing issue back and forth. We have a safeguard algorithm to detect and stop such activity (there will be warnings in the logs), but the issue should be resolved by reconfiguring or removing one of the synchronizers.
Hope this helps!
Igor
Thanks Igor. We will make sure we plan our structures around the issue.
