Team calendar, "Add event" feature not functioning in Chrome

The symtom is that the "Add event" of the team calendar is not functioning in the Chrome browser; while the feature is available in other browsers (Firefox and Safari.).

When click "add event" button on the top right corner, the layered pop up is displayed in the Firefox and Safari; while no layer is shown in Chrome and IE browsers. (attached image 1 and 2)

When the Add Event is not functioning, this error message is shown;
(and when no error is found, this message is not shown)

Does anyone have experienced the same issue or any idea how to tackle this issue? 

We've tried to test in different Chrome versions as below; 60.0.3112.113, 61.0.3163.79, 61.0.3163.91, which in all having us end up finding the same problem. 

We are using 6.0.7 confluence version and the team calendar plug-in's is 5.3.17 (installed version).

We are seeing this same basic problem in our production environment between Chrome 60+ and Confluence 5.10.8 with Team Calendars 5.3.20.

Add Event works with IE and Firefox, but we have several hundred Chrome users who aren't happy.

In our case, the Chrome dev console error shows this:
