We were on Jira 5.0 and some features of Zephyr were not available. Upgrading Jira to the latest 6.1 has now broken the plugin completly.
Looking through the logs the only error I can see is the following
java.lang.RuntimeException: com/atlassian/jira/index/CompositeResultBuilder at com.atlassian.event.internal.SingleParameterMethodListenerInvoker.invoke(SingleParameterMethodListenerInvoker.java:54) at com.atlassian.event.internal.AsynchronousAbleEventDispatcher$2.run(AsynchronousAbleEventDispatcher.java:66) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/atlassian/jira/index/CompositeResultBuilder at com.thed.zephyr.je.index.ScheduleIndexerManager.perform(ScheduleIndexerManager.java:239) at com.thed.zephyr.je.index.ScheduleIndexerManager.reIndexSchedules(ScheduleIndexerManager.java:160) at com.thed.zephyr.je.index.ScheduleIndexManagerImpl.reIndexSchedule(ScheduleIndexManagerImpl.java:104) at com.thed.zephyr.je.event.listener.ScheduleEventListener.reIndexSchedules(ScheduleEventListener.java:55) at com.thed.zephyr.je.event.listener.ScheduleEventListener.onScheduleEvent(ScheduleEventListener.java:42) <+2> at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at com.atlassian.event.internal.SingleParameterMethodListenerInvoker.invoke(SingleParameterMethodListenerInvoker.java:36) ... 4 more Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.atlassian.jira.index.CompositeResultBuilder at org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1711) at org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1556) at org.apache.felix.framework.ExtensionManager$ExtensionManagerModule.getClassByDelegation(ExtensionManager.java:672) at org.apache.felix.framework.resolver.WireImpl.getClass(WireImpl.java:99) at org.apache.felix.framework.ModuleImpl.searchImports(ModuleImpl.java:1345) at org.apache.felix.framework.ModuleImpl.access$200(ModuleImpl.java:73) at org.apache.felix.framework.ModuleImpl$ModuleClassLoader.loadClass(ModuleImpl.java:1690) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) ... 14 more
Any help would be appreciated.

Zephyr for JIRA 2.1 is now available and it is compatible with JIRA 6.1.

Zephyr is working to get a "compatability" release out as soon as possible, it willl contain only a few improvements beyond 6.1 compatability and bug fixes.

Chris

Nick, Nicusor,
Zephyr 1.73 doesn't state that it does support deployment on JIRA 6.1.
From the product page:
"version 1.7.3.1043 • JIRA 5.1 - 6.0.8"
Kind Regards,
Chris

Please note if you have already read this. Zephyr for JIRA 2.0 will not support JIRA 6.1 I misstated that in this post. I have now edited it out.

The same happened to us, the only difference is that the Menus do show up after clearing the JIRA plugin cache, but all the Zephyr gadgets are broken.
The log is flooded with the above error, can someone please check this?
