Why is the Answers website so god-awful slow? Logging in can easily take a full 10 seconds, going to the "ask a question" thing just took me 20 seconds. Submitting an answer may take a full minute.
Something wrong, guys? It's not my connection: I'm on 100Mb fiberoptic.
We did a little investigation. Our sysadmin team said it was AtlassianID interceptors' apache2 process burning CPU cycles, reducing throughput. We restarted it and so far, so good.

It seems to be a little bit better now. It's okay for something to take a second or so, but just displaying a page doesn't need to take any more than that. Not in this day and age.
(let's see how fast submitting this comment will be...)
(edit: yup, much better)

It does look like asking questions is super slow. I'll take a deeper look.

Hello Martijn, not sure what time did this happen, but it looks ok from my side. In case you want to double check the stability next time, feel free to use our status page edit: (scrolling down there is a graph about it).

That's not very helpful, Answers isn't listed on the status page!

Hi Joseph, I see this scrolling down the status page. o.O
Not sure why it is not listed in the top items, but it surely could be more visible.

Ah, I see - but it's not listed on the top table. Thanks for clarifying! Have an up-vote :)
