I need to be able to trigger an action from the creation of a specific type of issuethat contains a certain value in one of its fields. At the moment I don't find this possibility. How could I solve it?
Hi Arturo
John from Automation for Jira here. Your use case is nice and easy to do.
You will need to use a trigger, 2 conditions and an action.
You may also get some benefit in looking around the Rule Playground. It's a safe environment full of sample rules: https://docs.automationforjira.com/rule-playground/#/
Hope that helps but let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers,
John
Excellent. Thank you for your reply. I am evaluating the plugin to acquire it and want to know: I need to put a button that creates subtasks, but does not make transition (transition with equal state of origin and destination.
This case can not been found at Rule Playground.
How can I create it using your plugin?

Hi Arturo,
thanks for the compliments about the Docs! We spent a lot of time on them so it's good to get some feedback.
If I understand your use case here, you simply want to automatically create sub-tasks but not transition them?
This is easily done:
Trigger: Whatever
Action: Create sub-tasks
*Then you go deeper by adding fields across the sub-tasks. I have attached a screenshot below. If that doesn't answer your question, let me know a little more about your use case and we should be able to solve it!
