We are finding when we use apache webserver as a proxy to forward requests the calendar plugin is not working.

Jacob Fraser March 1, 2013

We setup an apache webserver to front our wiki requests so people don't have to enter a port number. but the calendar plugin does not appear to work when we do this.

example:

abc.com --> webserver forwards all requests to abc.com:8090.

when I have a team calendar and hit add event nothing happens. Also I don't see any events.

BUT if I put the port number in..

abc.com:8090 --> webserver forwards all requests to abc.com:8090.. team calendar works.

Is there a setting we can set to make the apache Proxy work with team calendars?

Hi Jacob,
I am not entierly sure but perhaps the baseURL is not matching properly. I would advise double checking to see if the baseURL is 'abc.com:8090' and if it is change it to 'abc.com'. For more on configuring the baseURL, please have a look at the following page.

Configuring the Server Base URL

Cheers,
Andrew
