We have added Balsamiq to Jira and want to know if it can be there is a way to tie it to Confluence.

Cynthia Lee January 15, 2019

We use the Balsamiq add-on to do wireframe design. We would like to store the documents in Confluence. Is there a way to link it or tie it to a space?

Hey Cynthia,

I'm so sorry that it took so long to get back to you. Our alert system stopped, well, alerting us - so we have missed a lot of these questions. I cannot apologize enough for that.

To answer your question, there isn't a way to do this yet, but it is something we are working on.

Right now, there is a rough workaround, but it requires you to have Balsamiq installed on your Confluence instance (rather than Jira), and then linking to the PNG attachment (that page talks about showing a wireframe on multiple Confluence pages, but the PNG attachment can also be linked in Jira). It's a bad workaround, but it may hold you over until we finish building the perma-linking feature.

Let me know if you have any questions, Cynthia. I'm sorry again for the delay in response.
