We were not able to enable Scaffolding Metadata Plugin!

Abhishek Bharadwaj May 28, 2018

Hi,

We are having v8.0.0  of Scaffolding Metadata Plugin installed in our Confluence v6.1.4. We are not able to enable the plugin. We are getting an error while enabling it. Could anyone help us with this.

Error Message: This add-on failed to enable. Refer to the logs for more information.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Abhishek,

The Scaffolding Metadata Plugin is a deprecated dependency which is no longer required by any of the ServiceRocket add-ons; you can check out this documentation for more information.

Since you're on Confluence 6.1.4, the Scaffolding add-on installed on your instance should be on modern versions, and does not require Scaffolding Metadata Plugin. It is strongly recommended to uninstall the dependency as it might interfere with the functionality on Scaffolding. To make sure that no older scripts or classes are retained on your instance, it is recommended to clear the plugin cache after uninstalling the dependency.

If you still have any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to ServiceRocket Support.
