Hey Sergey, I made the decision to host these banners on Dropbox because it is an easier process than uploading them to our own CMS.

I conferred with our resident security expert and he assured me that there are no more risks in using Dropbox to host these images than there are in using our own machines.

I've made the switch to atlassian.com hosting, and I'm happy to continue to use that, but I am curious, are you concered about security or something else?

Thanks for reaching out!

Some companys' web proxy servers block access to file hosting sites. It's easier to get the right exemptions in place if everything is served from the same host.

I'd say it's just a mistake and the somebody has just posted in a link that a designer sent across, or someone is bypassing a deployment process and change the images without having to go through the whole process?

It's going to take some from Atlassian to answer this one for certain.

How/why did you spot it?
