Why does the Gantt chart show Friday and Saturday as weekends for US users? How can it be changed?

We've  updated to version 3.1.8, but this didn't fix the problem.

We'll gather some more information about the PC setup of our US users ...

Please click on "support request" (menu item within the (?)-menu on the top right of a Gantt-Chart) to email your infos. A related JIRA issue will be created automatically, which makes it easier to track and exchange infos not in public, here.

Please update to the latest published version: Gantt-Chart 3.1.8

Does this problem still exists using that version?

I tried to reproduce using v3.1.8 but cannot: my JIRA server is running within a test environment having European Time/Date settings and I used a virtual machine (WIN7) having US/Canada configured as location as well as timezone (UTC-5) => the background color of Saturday/Sunday are colored in yellow within both environments.

Kind regards,
Frank

Hi Frank,

thanks for your quick reply.

We're currently using version 3.1.5-JIRA6 and already configured the working days (see attached screenshot).

Saturday and Sunday are correctly displayed for a user in Europe, but our US-Users see Friday and Saturday marked in yellow.

Best regards,

What Gantt-Chart version are you using?

You can specify/config the weekly non-working days within the Gantt-Chart add-on globally: as system-admin, please switch to "manage add-ons", select Gantt-Chart and click on "configure" within the Gantt-Chart section of UPM or on "Gantt-Chart" link on the left side. Within the Gantt-Chart configuration, switch to tab "Calendar" and mark your non-working days, which are displayed in light-yellow.

Kind regards,
Frank

I guess it is due the fact that in Germany the first day in a week is Monday wether in US it's Sunday, so in the US 6th and 7th day are Friday and Saturday vs in Germany it's Saturday and Sunday. And the plugin developer is from Germany.
