Will Bamboozled Ruby plugin become available on the cloud?

I am currently use the OnDemand subscription for evaluating Bamboo as a CI/CD platform, and one thing we definitely need is Ruby support (for capistrano, Chef (eventually), and other ruby-related tasks like bundle and compass). Currently this is only available for the Server, and right now we don't have the resources to set up our own just for evaluating this product. I'm just wondering if this plugin will become available on the Cloud, and if so, when that is planned? Thank you.

Hi Derek!

Currently there are no official plans to roll out Ruby support for OnDemand. The good news though is that there is a feature request out there, https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-12350, requesting this exact functionality. What I would recommend is to add yourself as a watcher to that request so you get updates, and vote on it. Adding a comment with business justification might help as well. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!

Best regards,

Thanks for the response. I think this would be a much needed set of functionality. Ruby is quite popular nowadays, and the more you support out of the box, the quicker you'll get new customers who are evaluating your system. Easier to use = better for all.
