Hi,
I don't understand where are saved the new attribute that I create in the Worklog attributes of the plugin tempo. In the issue I can't see noting of the value of the select list that I have inserted. Where is saved?

I create the same select list that is in the Dynamic Drop-Down. Where are saved the color??
regards,
Marco
Hi Marco,
The worklog attributes are stored in a proprietary XML format (which can change at any time) and we offer no direct method of accessing those attributes. We do however offer XML and Excel exports which include those worklog attributes:

The TEMPO guys never disclose where the TEMPO data is saved in the JIRA DB, isn't it?
If TEMPO keeps the tables constant, just providing the table names will save a lot of people their time.

Ok!
Now I have removed the color and I have created a dynamic drop-down where the 2 value that I can select are: "ON SITE" and "REMOTE". They rapresent the position of the developer when he is working and he put the log work. So I can know who has work from home and who as work in the office.
I go to Tempo > Report, I have the issue with: Planned, Worked and Location (that have the select of on_site/remote).
If I want to make a personal report makinq queries on the db I can extract the value of plan and log work, but I can't finde the value of the Location.
Now I'm thinking that it could be stored in Jira Activity Objects plugin, like you wrote me. How can I catch that value for my personal report??
Kind regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,
We store most of the Tempo specific data in the JIRA property tables but some data is stored with the JIRA Active Objects plugin. This means that all the Tempo data is in the JIRA database and is backed/restored just like other JIRA data.
The data in the property tables is stored in a proprietary XML format and the Active Objects tables are just normal database tables.
Note that we can change the format/layout at any time and that we do not support any direct access or manipulation of the data

I've found where I can see the attribute!!!
In Tempo > Report, on the right there is "Worklog" and with Views, I can add my attribute.
Wonderful!!
But where is saved in the db???

Marco
